KALIMPONG, 22 DECEMBER 2017: Who Cares today organised a special programme at Trikon Park at Kalimpong where volunteers gathered all the destitute and homeless people in Kalimpong town. The volunteers cut their hair, bathed them, offered manicure and pedicure. The destitute and homeless people were then given sumptuous meal and after giving them blankets and warm clothes the volunteers wished them Happy Christmas and bid farewell.

Aeron Yonzon, founder of Kalimpong Chapter of Who Cares while speaking to ‘The Himalayan Beacon’ said that people celebrated Christmas or various other festivals but never gave a thought to the destitute and homeless people. This year, Who Cares thought of spreading cheer among the destitute and homeless and extending a helping hand in the true spirit of Christmas.
