Rewati Chettri, Miss International India feeds poor and destitute in Kalimpong

KALIMPONG, 23 DECEMBER 2017: Rewati Chettri fed the poor and destitute people in the Streets of Kalimpong. She was accompanied by the top three contestants of Miss Kalimpong pageant. The programme was organised by Mani Trust, Kalimpong. Subash Singh, Director of Mani Trust speaking to ‘The Himalayan Beacon’ said that the Trust had been providing food continuously to the poor and destitute from May 2014. He said that he was happy that Rewati Chettri and the three top contestants of Miss Kalimpong pageant fed the poor. He said that this will definitely send positive message to the people to respect and love the poor and the destitute. He said that he was positive that Mani Trust would be able to provide food to poor and destitute in the far flung areas such as villages and tea gardens in the future.
Rewati Chettri Miss International India 2016 speaking to ‘The Himalayan Beacon’ said that she felt very emotional connecting with the poor and the destitute. She said that she was very happy that Mani Trust invited her to feed the poor. She said that Mani Trust was doing great service to the nation and everyone should come and support the trust.
Rewati Chetri is an Indian model and beauty queen. She participated in Femina Miss India 2015 where she was a finalist. She has been crowned Miss Asia at the World Miss University 2016 pageant, held in Beijing. In 2016 she participated in the Senorita India pageant, and won the title of Senorita Miss International India 2016. She represented India at Miss International 2016 held in Tokyo, Japan
