Pradhan has also issued clarification over the allegations that Kalimpong Municipality during his Chairmanship had singularly defaulted over various issues such as garbage disposal and proper functioning of street lamps. Addressing the media Pradhan said that Kalimpong Municipality during his chairmanship has initiated various programmes such as installing LED Street Lamps instead of the CFL domestic bulbs that were being used in the street lamps. But the proposals were still under consideration and that many of his initiatives could not take shape due to various problems.
