Thanks for all the comments. As expected like the looking glass (mirror) not mistaking as the window pane, which seen through, incur a lot of pain when visibility of truth is uncovered by withdrawn curtains. Sudden light is always dazzling to the unacquainted eyes. This has now become a phobia, infact a terminal ailment to relieve pain resorting to internet use as analgesics, addictively more than massively identified as prophylactics. The proper course should have been a process of diagnostic examination, prognosis and finally clinical treatment.

Instead, the infliction is bundled up and closed in a hidden corner of the mind, consciously disguised and framed unconsciously for storing in the subconscious. This mental process of the human mind was identified in the USA in 1950s and 60s, and commonly referred to as the ‘identity crisis’ or ego trip based on the principle of Sigmund Freud, the father of psychiatry, dividing the mental growth of individuals into compartments, beginning with the still born ’id’ physically growing up to ‘identity’ temporarily residing in ‘ego’ inflated by social contacts to ‘super ego’, and finally claiming, convinced by past experiences assumed as wisdom, whatever the form, in placing the super ego for worship, recognizing it as god in person – as the altar ego. Great sages of yore like Buddha, Christ and Mohammad seems to have attained God head figure by enlightenment with knowledge and wisdom. Now they have been accepted by the people as altar ego figures and worshipped as such.

Whereas the present generation seeking such acclaims, imitating the sages, to ride their tide of fame, seek instant knowledge without ever travelling the path of the ancients. Unabled to reach anywhere near such heights, feign to claim, surreptiously, embark on asserting the recognition by performing the ritual of ego trip, while simply in search of the ‘selfish’ identity. Almost unknown of these psychological factors, modern human kind is physically being impacted by the psychological identity crisis, identified in historical figures by the types of the Roman Emperor Nero (burnt Rome, as one depressed of mind), Chenghis Khan (let no enemies escape death), Adolf Hitler (supremacy of the Aryan race related to the six million Jews in genocide), Joseph Stalin and Mao Tse Tung (both responsible for eliminating the bourgeoisie, accounting loss of human lives, in either country more than the number allotted for Hitler). In recent history George Bush Jr. had such streak.

All animate life have the survival instinct, which carried forward with the identity instinct is the cause of most problems, and which all religious philosophy exposes to deny in no uncertain terms, in order the devil in disguise may act god all the time. Despite it all, humans move along claiming a civilized social way of life, wherein, short it is experienced as a bottomless pitfall into a den of vipers.

Misinformed and misguided, the society is at risk where withal the individual seeks acceptance, at least in form within the group, inadvertently seeking the self rapturously disguised, suffering from a ego trip in order to sustain the identity crisis. After all there is no cost and charges in repayment for such activation- the experiment is totally free, with a license to perform on whatever basis suiting the individual aspiration concerned. In reading this scripture, if at all its preserves are true, a semblance of similarity seems familiar in the gamut of proceedings featuring in the various aspects of claims and counter claims asserted in the present political dispensation, whether the party spearheading the agitation or those in opposition. As such there is no clear cut transparency at all. Any ruse offered by the hierarchy is accepted by the third estate, lock, stock and barrel as the gospel truth.

To cut a long story short, as indicated by the forces of supply and demand, Darjman appreciates being the target of all the darts, aimed not at the object of the script, purposely, but on the person of the scripter, infact simply exposes the critics akin to the light reflected, like the example of the mirror.

On the positive side, the Darjman is more energized by the hail of critical pellets, insufficient even to dent. It is however inspiring, the articles contain enough evidences to provoke readers in biting the bit and probably throw larger stones next time to cause a dent. The writings of Darjman are now a critical ritual. The idea however, is the same in effect. Critics are mere sacrificial lambs. After all Darjman’s very survival depends on such sacrificial offerings, for which all is blessed. However a word of advice is on its way, cautioning to base happiness on more firm ground, than perceived path, walked by past people. Otherwise one may land up in a situation like Gorkhaland, searching for the soul elsewhere, in Nepal, whereas it has ever been present in the Darjeeling faces the “hill people”.

A word to R2D2: In order not to blow one’s trumpet, but at the same time doing so, receiving the galore of criticism is read as eating the humble pie. More than often, most pies contain less substance than the shadow itself, adulterated most of the time only for public consumption, hogged by the people. It is more misleading and rabble rousing than otherwise necessary, totally missing the substance for the shadow. The Darjman’s articles, instead of coming as a breeze in a warm summer atmosphere are indicted becoming the hot infuriating summer sun. The paradox is regretted if the truth is unveiled.
