Karatekas from Darjeeling Hills haul 4 Silver and 10 Bronze at NESKFI Championship

KALIMPONG, 22 DECEMBER 2017: Karatekas from Darjeeling Hills clinched 4 silver and 10 Bronze medals at the 5th NESKFI North East State Karate Championship 2017 held on 17 and 18 December 2017. The Championship was held at Itanagar, Arunachal Pradesh and organised by North East State Karate Federation of India (NESKFI).

Among the Silver medalists were Anamika Gurung, Diplop Rai, Norbu Moktan and Raj Singh. Among the Bronze medalists were Akchharsiva Koti, Abhishek Chettri, Yubika Tamang, Prince Raj Gupta, Kritan Parajuli, Ayush Cnettri, Raj Rai, Sweta Rai, Annusiva Koti and Chogel Tamang.

The manager which participated under the banner of Darjeeling Gorkha Karate-Do Association was managed by Prinyanka Thapa while the assistant manager was Aditya Rai. Kamal Negi was the Team Coach and Sushan Thapa was the Team representative. Ramesh Kharka participated in the Championship as an official referee.
