DARJEELING CINE GUILD (DCG) SUBMITS MEMORANDUM TO GTA BOA-CHAIRMAN
MIRIK CHAPTER APPEALS ALL CINE ARTISTS AND TECHNICIANS TO ATTEND DCG MEET TODAY

MIRIK, 25 NOVEMBER 2017: Darjeeling Cine Guild has approached the Chairman of Gorkhaland Territorial Administration (GTA) submitting a memorandum. The Guild established in 2014 represents a large number of technicians and artists from around Darjeeling Hills. Speaking to THB, Adithya Raya, the president of the Darjeeling Cine Guild said that the Guild has been in constant contact with the Gorkhaland Territorial Administration and has been submitting memorandum after memorandum seeking support from the GTA. However, due to the 104 days agitation and the subsequent change in the local administration, none of its memorandum have so far been entertained and as such the Guild has once again approached the Chairman of Gorkhaland Territorial Administration.
Meanwhile the Mirik chapter of Darjeeling Cine Guild organised a meeting at Mirik under the chairmanship of the Chapter Working President Gautam Chettri. Speaking to THB, Chettri appeal cine artists and technicians from across the hills to attend Darjeeling Cine Guild (DCG) meet today being held at many places including Mirik. The meeting of the Mirik chapter will be held at the Cultural Affairs Office at 1 pm.
